RedZone Ministries is a community-based outreach ministry that targets urban young people between the ages of 9 & 18 who live in one of Memphis’ most under-served communities and who are making critical life decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. RedZone's missional strategies and tactics are based upon relationships, and we value a "theology of presence" which are our directional compass for sharing the love and truth of the whole Gospel.
SPACE FOR LEARNING
RedZone Ministries provides space for students to be enriched and encouraged academically. The Opportunity Zone, our comprehensive, multi-purpose, outreach center has 6 classrooms, a multi-media computer lab, a training room, and a makers zone dedicated to the fine arts, where students are challenged and learning is extended during the afterschool program hours.
Life and Career Readiness
We create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
Support for Communities
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.
