Volunteer Opportunities at Community Schools

Projects that require at least an hour once a week, every other week, or once a month:

Volunteer Outreach Worker: Direct ministry with students (2 to 6 hours per week)
After school tutor: math, science, and English. M-Th. 3:30 to 5:30 daily (one hour) Mentor a student: up to 2 hours weekly. (programmed curriculum)
After school time monitor: 3:30- 6:00 (any hour in this time frame)
Small Group leader/teacher at Transcenders bible study
Van driver on club night, daily drop-offs, or special events/activities (must be 25 years old with valid drivers license)
Assist with Thursday Transformers Club (weekly fun night for kids) 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Provide snacks/meal for students after club (great for Sunday school/small groups)

One time projects:

Organize Clothes Closet
Staff/Manage Clothes Closet (quarterly)
Make Donations of supplies, materials, services
School Beautification Project (annual project)

*NOTE* Volunteers are to come to the school office to check in and will then be directed to the designated area. Please contact us for more information.
